RIP Squadron Leader William Brodie

Sad to report that 102 year old Squadron Leader William Brodie DSO. DFC. DFM (with Bar) formerly of Bomber Command during World War 2, died peacefully on the morning of Christmas Eve.

A wonderfully gentle and kind man whom I had the pleasure of meeting a couple of times at his home and photographing for The 3945 Portraits Project.

As his wife Cathy said..."Bill's now on his last flight and we all wish him a soft landing" x
